Position Overview

AIS Finance & Accounting (F&A) department is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst who is interested in joining the AIS team and helping us reinvent our company and position it for substantial growth. 

Under the direction of the Controller, the Accounting Manager will become a key member the fast-paced F&A team, responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting.  The successful candidate will love work in a dynamic environment and partnering with a variety of functions.  This rock star will understand financial decisions and be a 'trusted' business advisor.

Core Responsibilities for all F&A Department Team Members

All Finance & Accounting department team members must demonstrate the following characteristics:

Job Duties

  • Develop, improve, and create monthly reporting and forecasting
  • Enhance and lead budgeting process
  • Provide decision support to the business by digging deep into transactions and identifying KPIs and savings initiatives 

Key Requirements - What You Will Bring to the Team:

  • 3+ years of experience in similar finance or accounting role
  • 3+ years in positions that require analysis, financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
  • 3+ years' experience in performing financial ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills. Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced problem solving and root cause analysis combined with proven ability to communicate those analysis

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA or MBA preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Access, Essbase and/or Cognos) and other financial systems such (i.e. Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
  • Vista ERP experience and construction finance background preferred

Travel:

  • Periodic travel may be required
