Production Shift Supervisor

A leading manufacturer and marketer of chemicals is looking for a 2^nd Shift Supervisor to join our growing organization. 

Shift Supervisor

Supervises all aspects of production lines on the Second Shift.  Ensures that all production lines operate efficiently, according to schedule, and in compliance with all operating and safety policies and procedures.  Manages effective communication between the work shifts. Also responsible for process improvement and projects as assigned. 

Education and/or Experience                            

High School Diploma.  Some college coursework a plus.

Three to five years of experience in a similar role.

Experience working in a team environment a plus.

Capability to communicate effectively with various skill levels and personality types to successfully accomplish your expectations

Ability to use Lean tools to achieve process improvements

Work Environment    

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 42 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and horizontally push up to 125 pounds.

The employee frequently is frequently exposed to heat or cold. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
