Employment Coordinator - Louisiana CAT

Louisiana Cat is currently seeking an Employment Coordinator to join the human resources team at the corporate office in Reserve, LA.  Reporting to the HR Director, the Employment Coordinator is responsible for the end-to-end staffing & recruiting process to source the best external talent for the company.  As an integral member of the HR team, the Employment Coordinator will perform other duties in support of company and department initiatives.  This is a terrific opportunity for a motivated individual who would like to grow with us and gain exposure to many HR disciplines. 

Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening and referring applicants for all positions.
  • Administering pre-employment testing to candidates.
  • Participating in on-boarding, new hire orientation and other staffing activities.
  • Performing all ApplicantPro (Applicant Tracking System) activities associated with open requisitions such as posting open jobs, managing applicant pools, sourcing and screening of resumes, recommending qualified candidates to managers for interviews, and reviewing pre-screening results.
  • Responsible for the data integrity of ApplicantPro recruiting system associated with the assigned activities, reporting and analysis.
  • Responding timely and accurately to managers' calls and e-mails regarding all recruiting activities.
  • Representing Louisiana Cat at job fairs and other career events. 
  • Other special projects as assigned by the HR Director.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field.
  • Previous experience in full cycle recruiting for exempt and nonexempt positions is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the flexibility to assist in all areas of the HR Department as needed.
  • Good computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
