The Accounting Director shall be responsible for planning, managing and execution of all financial and accounting processes of the corporation and its subsidiaries. Duties will include creation and analysis of reports and providing information and input to executive management on accounting and fiscal matters. 


  1. Analyzing accounts and records and reporting to Senior Management.
  2. Developing and maintaining Accounting systems and methods.
  3. Participating in meetings; reporting problems to senior management verbally or in writing in order to avoid further problems; and recommending changes for improvements in accounting's functions to Senior Managements.
  4. Providing direction and delegating responsibilities to Accounting staff.
  5. Maintaining and developing J. SOX compliance and policies.
  6. Maintaining and supervising quarterly review and annual audit.
  7. Filing Federal and State reports as necessary and advising senior management tax requirements as needed.


  1. Must be tactful, mature, flexible and able to successfully respond to multiple work pressures
  2. Must have supervisory skills and management experience
  3. Must have detailed knowledge of accounting practices and principles
  4. Usage of SAP system


Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of strong experience in Accounting. Fluent in Japanese language. CPA certification highly preferred.

BUSINESS TRAVEL: This position requires traveling in and out of state up to 10% of the time.

PHYSICAL DEMAND: This position requires lifting up to 20lbs occasionally.
