The ideal Office Services Assistant will be outgoing, friendly, and task-oriented. Apply if you are able to balance routine daily activities with being prompt and dependable. We're looking from someone who can provide mail room services, maintain office and kitchen supply stock, and monitor meeting space.

Responsibilities and Duties

Some Daily Responsibilities include:

  • checking conference rooms for proper stock of materials and beverages
  • refilling company refrigerators - three times a day (early am, lunch, and before leaving)
  • making coffee
  • multiple mail sorting sessions and interoffice deliveries
  • monitoring kitchen areas and clean, restock as needed

Some Weekly Responsibilities include:

  • ordering certain food items, beverages/water, and kitchen supplies to maintain par
  • cleaning whiteboards and thoroughly check/clean/correcting all conference and meeting rooms
  • assist with special projects to aid Office Services team as needed

Periodic Responsibilities include:

  • covering for or relieving the Receptionist as needed (answer phones, direct guests, assist visitors, etc.)
  • serving as back-up for other Office Services duties (making copies, placing orders, routing deliveries, etc.)

Additional duties may be assigned and will vary by time of year

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of two (2) years of work experience, preferably in an office setting
  • Ability to stand or walk for 4 to 6 hours a day (this is a very mobile position)
  • Ability to focus; attention to detail (repetitious and routine, yet critical to daily office operations)
  • Serve in a support role
  • Punctual with a strong attendance record
  • Able to work 7:45 am 4:45 pm - usual schedule, Mon - Fri
