Our Client is a global leader in the commercial construction industry.  They are looking for a "dynamic and transformational" business leader to profitably grow and expand its market territories.

What you will do

This position will manage and oversee its structural division ($100Million Revenue).  The GM of Operations is responsible for the overall P&L of the division as well as the quality, scheduling, and budget performance of all construction projects for the division.  Location for this position is somewhat flexible, but will likely reside in Southern-California, Phoenix or Seattle.

Ideal Experience

Ideally, ten (10) years related experience as a Business Leader (Director Level or above) with a Construction Company or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).  Structural steel and/or concrete construction experience preferred.   P & L Responsibility; Budget Planning/Forecasting; Contract Negotiation and Change Order management; Specialized knowledge is required in structural construction delivery methods, construction design, and production efficiency metrics.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in the following fields of study:  Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.  A degree in a business related field may be acceptable if accompanied by additional years of experience.
